Provide

Ecological Design, Consultation and Installation Services

Let us help you welcome water into your landscape. We offer ecological design, consultation and installation services that help you treat water as a resource and not as a problem. Our services range from helping you make the best use of the municipal water you are buying to capturing and using the rainwater that is falling for free on your property.

We design rainwater catchment systems that store rainwater in containers and in landscapes that are specially designed to harvest and use rainwater while they create native habitat or edible gardens.

Indoors

We do water use analysis and provide guidance in conservation strategies that include taking advantage of free low flow devices or choosing water efficient appliances that are rebated. We help you meet drought restriction allotments and avoid penalties.

Outdoors

We assess your "water assets."
Rainwater falling on your roof and the ground is an asset that is perhaps yet untapped. Greywater generated from your washing machine, shower, and bathroom sink is a potential asset when used to water the landscape. We calculate this potential and work with you to develop these assets.

Rainwater catchment systems - We design and install.

 Water Storage in Containers

  • Rain Barrels
  • Tanks
  • Cisterns

 Water Storage in the Ground

  •  Water Harvesting Swales - that store water in the ground.
  •  Diversion Swales - that divert and store water in the ground.
  •  Raingardens - that filter water, provide beauty and habitat.

When you store rain water in containers, you have water available in the dry season. When you store water in the ground, rather than directly sending it to storm drains, you do less watering because you are storing water in the soil.

This process helps purify run off as it passes through a more natural cycle - through the soil, into the ground water, raising the water table, and filling creeks and streams from the bottom up!

Wholistic Approach to Site Design

With wise water use, working within your water budget, we can help you create a beautiful and functional landscape.
